Experience

We've been ordering new vehicles for Ford and Lincoln stores since 2007. We've seen it all - Ford pushing AFOs, engine constraints, package discounts, etc. We know how certain instances impact the data, and we use this experience to build you the right vehicles.

PRECISION LEADERSHIP

Rich Lighten

President and Founder

Rich started Precision after 11 years with Ford.  He worked as a Zone Manager, District Manager and manager of the Regional Marketing and Distribution departments in Regions from Chicago to Denver, Phoenix and Memphis.  It was during that time, he realized the difficulty dealers had in getting the right inventory to their dealerships.  So in 2007, he left Ford and started up Precision Inventory Management.

He loves spending time with his wife and four kids.  He's passionate about playing basketball, fishing in Alaska, aviation, trail running, Diet Coke and fun cars with manual transmissions.  He attended BYUs Marriott School of Business and loves BYU sports.

Britt Salmon

VP of Operations

Britt started working for Precision Inventory Management in 2011.  At the time she was working part-time while training for the Olympic trials in short track speed skating.  She placed 9th at trials and went on to earn a spot on the USA World Championships team in 2014.

She graduated from Princeton University in 2008 with a degree in Economics.  While at Princeton she played D-1 women's ice hockey.  Britt continues to stay involved in hockey, playing on 2 men's teams and coaching the next generation of all-stars.  Hockey is her passion but she also loves the outdoors.  Skiing, mountain biking, and hiking are some of her favorites.

Dallan Andrus

VP of Technology and Continuous Improvement

Dallan joined Precision full-time in June of 2017 to create systems to increase employee productivity and order quality.  Over the course of his 20-year career, he has held the titles Process Engineer, Process Engineering Section Manager, Manufacturing Section Manager, Site Engineering Manager, and Operations Manager at Westinghouse Savannah River Company, ON Semiconductor, and Merit Sensor Systems.  He has a BS in Chemical Engineering from Brigham Young University, an MBA from Arizona State University, and served a two-year LDS mission to India.

Most of Dallan’s spare time is spent with his wife and five children.  When he does find a spare minute or two, he likes to play basketball or golf, shoot or hunt, and occasionally hike or mountain bike.  He also enjoys watching BYU and Denver Broncos football, BYU and University of Arizona basketball, and Arizona Diamondbacks baseball.

Tori Jellison

Operations Manager

Tori started with Precision Inventory Management in 2016. Prior to Precision she worked at Putnam Investments in their sales program. She played ice hockey at Amherst College and graduated in 2015 with a degree in mathematics.

She enjoys being outdoors every weekend whether it is hiking, camping, skiing, mountain biking, canoeing - really anything. Her current passion is hiking - she has hiked all 46 high peaks in the Adirondack State Park, and she is very close to hiking all 48 high peaks in the White Mountains National Park. Her goal is to hike all 115 high peaks in NY, NH, VT, and ME.
