2027 Ford Expedition Platinum with 30th Anniversary Package in Blue Ember

The 2027 Expedition is here, marking 30 years of the Expedition. There are new colors—Bronze Fire, Nocturnal Blue, and Blue Ember—along with new drive trains and new packages: the Family Travel Package on Active, Drivers Package now on Tremor, Ford Security Package, and 30th Anniversary Package on Platinum.

Colors on 2027 Expedition

There are three new colors for Expedition in 2027: Bronze Fire Metallic Tri-coat, Nocturnal Blue Metallic, and Blue Ember Metallic (only available with the 30th Anniversary Package).

The colors Space Silver Metallic and Stone Blue Metallic are no longer available.

4x2 Drivetrains

Ford has reintroduced 4x2 options for the Platinum and King Ranch trims. In key markets such as Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Houston, Memphis, and Orlando, we anticipate a significant portion of sales shifting from 4x4 to 4x2 configurations.

Active

Family Travel Package, priced at $2,515, is designed to equip larger families for extended road trips. As the only way to add a moonroof to the Active trim this model year, we expect this package to perform well.

It includes:

  • 360-Degree Zone Lighting

  • Digital Device Holder

  • Flex Powered Console

  • Panoramic Vista Roof

  • Third Row 40/20/40 PowerFold® Flexible Seating and Power-Folding Head Restraints

  • Remote Start

Tremor

Drivers Package adds a strong set of tech features for just $800. At this price point, we expect it to appeal to the majority of customers.

It includes:

  • B&O® Unleashed with 22 speakers

  • Illuminated rear spoiler

  • Power-folding, memory, auto-dimming and heated mirrors

  • Power pedals with memory

  • Power steering column with memory

  • Wireless charging pad

Platinum

30th Anniversary Package costs $7,975 and is available on Platinum Expeditions to honor 30 years of Expedition. It comes with a lot of the Stealth black out along with unique wheels and badging inside and out.  Only available in Black, Star White and Blue Ember.

Since it’s the only way to get Blue Ember, most of the 30th Anniversary Package sales will likely be in that color. It’s still early to say how popular the package will be, but based on the content, it could land around 20–30% of Platinum sales.

It comes with:

  • 22” Aluminum Wheels

  • Black Beltline Molding

  • “30th ANNIVERSARY” Lettering on Liftgate

  • Carbon Black Front Bumper/Fascia

  • Ebony Painted Grille

  • Black Bezel Headlamps

  • Front and Rear Scuff Plates

  • Center console with embossment

Power Panoramic Vista Roof is available through either the 30th Anniversary Package or the Driver’s Package.

Black Painted Roof is available with 30th Anniversary Appearance Package, Stealth Performance Package, or Platinum Ultimate Package. It’s also available on King Ranch. At $7,550, it’s a steep add-on, so we don’t expect many customers to opt for it.
