How to Change a Scheduled Unit
Once a unit has scheduled, there is a specific window of time when amendments can be made.
If a unit schedules on Thursday morning, you can begin altering it Friday.
The deadline for locking in changes depends on the unit's assigned build date. Up to two weeks before the build date, you can submit an amendment to the plant.
The plant will accept or deny the amendment overnight. You can view the plant’s decision in WBDO within 24 hours. A message will appear in the column next to the checkboxes within the orders section.
What You Can Change After Scheduling
The following fields can be altered after a unit has been scheduled:
PEP—only applicable and available on Ranger, Expedition, Mustang, and Bronco
Engine/Transmission—except on OTD vehicle lines where that decision gets locked in during OTD week 1
Color

Important Notes
Plant restrictions may apply. No changes can be made if they can’t be done at the same plant. For example, if you are trying to change an F-150 that is slated to be built at Kansas City to a hybrid, you will not be able to submit that change because hybrids are built exclusively at Dearborn.
Commodity restrictions will apply. You will not be able to amend an order to have an option that is on hold.
Nautilus does not accept amendments once a unit has been scheduled.
Ford will lock in all orders at the end of the model year right after final scheduling.
Why This Is Important to You
Example 1: A Maverick XLT Hybrid stock unit has been scheduled, with a build date a month away. A customer comes in and wants an XLT Hybrid and it is nearly the same build as the stock you just scheduled. You can submit an amendment to the plant to match exactly what the customer wants, delivering the vehicle sooner.
Example 2: An F-150 Tremor schedules with a 5.0L engine, but you really wanted a 3.5L engine to schedule. You can submit a change to switch the scheduled Tremor to the 3.5L engine.
Example 3: You forgot to manage your order bank, and some Ford recommended orders scheduled. You can amend them to better fit your dealership's needs.
